The first is of a girl who supposedly drowned her lover in a pool; the second involves an elderly Central American man who is journeying away from his home; the third involves a man whose home is invaded by armed robbers who kill the man's father; the fourth involves Zedd playing a liquor store robber who becomes hostile with the management; and the fifth depicts a distraught girl preparing to commit suicide on railroad. As the song progresses, the video intercuts to scenes of family happiness, dancing and rejoicing before concluding the five stories.
